The Buffalo Bills trade for Detroit’s 2nd round draft pick and select Paul Posluszny, Line Backer, Penn State University.

Quarterbacks

Tony Romo vs CIN. Was thinking about downgrading Romo after losing last week by throwing constantly, but they face the Bengals this weekend, so that means that the Cowboys will throw AND run constantly.

Drew Brees vs. MINN. Drew just keeps posting monster numbers with no-name receivers. They face the Vikings this week in Prime Time. Minny has been notoriously tough to run against and notoriously easy to pass against. Good thing Brees is a pocket passer.

Peyton Manning at HOU. Coming off a much-needed Bye week and facing a Texans secondary that has been thinned greatly by injury gets Manning right back near the top of the charts. If Dallas Clark is healthy and the tried-and-true hook-ups with Marvin return, Manning could continue upward.

Philip Rivers at MIA. Rivers will continue to fill the air on a weekly basis thanks to the Chargers finally having a receiver set to run with Gates and to take the pressure off of LT. Facing the Dolphins makes life a bit easier as well.

Donovan McNabb vs. WASH. Brian Westbrook is expected back, but I am anticipating more swing passes than rushing attempts for him. Philly has a chance of getting Kevin Curtis back as well. The ‘Skins secondary is vulnerable.

Kurt Warner vs. BUF. With Warner in the line-up, the Cardinals will continue to throw two out of every three downs. Even if Boldin sits this one out, Fitz and Breaston should be enough for 250-300yds and a couple of TDs.

Jay Cutler vs. TB. A tough matchup for Cutler, but Denver is a throwing team now and has too many WR weapons not to expect 250yds and a pair of scores.

Trent Edwards at AZ. Edwards faces the same pass defense that Favre shredded last week. Now, he is many grades behind Favre, but, with the likes of Lee Evans and James Hardy lining up, Edwards should see 250yds and at least 1 TD.

Kyle Orton at DET. Orton makes his Top 10 debut since the Bears playbook has opened up a bit and he is facing a horrific Lions defense.

Matt Schaub vs. IND. The Texans are now finding success through the air with Walters, Johnson and Daniels. Indy should put enough offensive pressure on Houston for the Texans to try to match them score-for-score.

Running Backs

Adrian Peterson at NO. With no passing game and a desperate need to keep Brees off the field, the Vikings will run the hell out of AP. Triple digits and 2 TDs is a given.

LaDainian Tomlinson at MIA. He won’t be getting 30 carries a game anymore, but 20 carries will be enough to net 100 yards, but it is his 2-3 TDs that will really ring the points up for LT owners.

Marion Barber vs. CIN. After "resting" Barber against the Redskins by only giving him the ball 8 times, expect a radical change this week with triple digit results and 2 TDs.

Frank Gore vs. NE. Gore won’t come close to Ronnie Brown’s performance against the Pats, but the Niners will give him the ball over 20 times and Gore runs much better at home.

Marshawn Lynch at AZ. Lynch has to stop here this week, which would be the only other thing stopping him this week other than a coach that wants to limit his touches and not burn him out too early this year.

Joseph Addai at HOU. Addai looked good in his last game after being dinged up the week prior. The Bye week and a weak Houston defense are his friends, especially if Manning is tearing apart the Texan secondary.

Matt Forte at DET. The Lions have the worst run defense in the league. The Bears will first exploit the Lions defense through the air and then will pound out a victory by letting Forte have his way. They even may sit him in the 4th qtr with the game in hand to let Kevin Jones have a shot against his former team.

Clinton Portis at PHIL. A very tough matchup this week for Portis, but he has been way too good to expect him not to produce 75 yards and a score.

Earnest Graham at DEN. Graham’s stats have been padded with a couple of nice, long runs this year. If you saw Denver’s ole’ defense on Larry Johnson last weekend, one could easily foresee another long run coming this week.

Steve Slaton vs. IND. Indy was easier to run on before the break than a 7-11 before a hurricane. I doubt much has changed since, though I feel that this game will get out of hand early and the Texans will rely more on the passing game.

Wide Receivers

Terrell Owens vs. CIN. I gave him this slot last week and there were too many missed connections with Romo that prevented him from earning it. However, to return to happness, they will tear apart the Bengals for some huge numbers this weekend.

Reggie Wayne at HOU.

I see all Colts WRs having a big day against this Texan secondary, but Wayne will undoubtedly go for well over 100 yards and 1-2 scores.

Brandon Marshall vs TB. The TB D will be keying on Marshall which is enough to step him down to 90 yards and a TD.

Steve Smith vs. KC. Ahhhh, it was nice to see Steve Smith back to form last week. What a beautiful catch and run for his TD. I’m sure we’ll see something similar this week.

Larry Fitzgerald vs. BUF. AZ most likely will not have Boldin in the line-up, but Fitz seems to do better when not being the main focus of Warner, plus Buffalo will blitz the hell out of the turnover-prone QB. We’ll probably see 90-100 yards, but I’m not sure about a TD.

Santana Moss at PHIL. Moss has quite the rhythm going with Jason Campbell. If Campbell gets some time to throw, Moss could be in for another nice game.

Lee Evans at AZ. Nice to see Evans back to his big-play form, which is exactly what the Cardinals are good at giving up. Randy Moss at SF. One has to believe that he has to have a big game this weekend or he will check out for the remainder of the season.

Chris Chambers at MIA. Chambers returns to face the Dolphins and you know he is looking forward to sticking his success in their face. By the way, do catches get much prettier than the juggling catch he had against OAK last Sunday?

Santonio Holmes at JAX. Big Ben and Holmes found their rhythm in the second half of MNF and it helped the Steelers win. You have to feel that they will try the exact same approach this week against a Jags secondary that is very beat-up.

Teams on Bye: New York Jets, Oakland, St. Louis, Cleveland
