Outstanding Players of the Chicago Bears for the Win

The Chicago Bears have something to be proud of – linebacker Lance Briggs and running back Matt Forte have been nominated for the weekly awards given out by the NFL following a stellar performance against the St. Louis Rams. Briggs’ interception of two passes in a game made him qualify for the GMC Sierra Defensive Player of the week. This achievement is also his first in his entire NFL career. Further he also registered two tackles-for-loss.r />

The two intercepted passes by Briggs was picked off from the consecutive passes by Trent Green, a feat which was last done by William Thomas in 1995 against the Giants. Forte, on the other hand, is a finalist for both NFL Rookie of the week and FedEx Ground Player of the week after rushing 132 yards on 20 carries with touchdown runs of 13 and 47 yards. pre-season. A remarkable thing about these players is that they do not get all the credit for themselves. They recognize the importance of a team and teamwork to achieve a win.

Forte’s 13-yard touchdown run made the Bears score their opening possession in the seven of the last nine games. Even as a rookie, Matt Forte has no signs of slowing down. The abilities he is showing in the field is beyond what you can expect from a rookie. He makes things real and easy for the Bears. He also holds the record for being the first running back of the Bears to do two touchdown runs of at least 47 yards in the same season, which was last done by Raymont Harris in 1997. With his fresh ability to run, Forte gets positive comments from coaches, sports commentators, and fans alike. But all this is attributed to the endless hours of practice that Forte does.

These achievements of Bears players may be due to the support and inspiration they got from thousands of Bears fans who made their way to St. Louis for the game. The Bears didn’t feel as if they were playing away from home since their fans created an environment similar to their home stadium. The Bears worked harder so that they won’t disappoint the fans who have traveled a long way to see them play.

The Chicago Bears made great passes and outstanding plays during the game. Their main focus was to always stop the run. From there, they moved on to several ways of strategizing for the win. Even if the best players from the opposing team weren’t around, they did not put their guards down since they recognize the capabilities of other great players. And because of this, they have adjusted their own according to whichever team they faced on the field.

Football is a game for the strong-hearted and the Bears have shown their hearts when they are on the field. They prepare for long hours beforehand and play the game with a passion so strong that it gets to their fans. No wonder they travel a long way just to see their favorite team play. With football, it’s not just ability, it’s also about dedication.

Chicago Bears, the most underrated team in the NFL? Another shot at the super bowl?
-The Bears are currently the 2nd best offensive team in the NFL, when their defensive men get back from injury…………..

-They've only lost 3 games which all came from Bear's mistakes with the exception of the first game. In each of those games, they lost by a field goal

- For the first game against the Panthers, the Bears were up 14 in the fourth quarter but choked it out and allowed the Panthers to win

- In the second game against the Tampa Bay, they were in overtime, the bears stopped tampa bay in their own 20 yard line, right when the bears offensive team came in, Bears Charles Tillman fouled a Buccaneer which resulted in 15 yards and first down and what ended up a game winning drive.

-Their third loss against the Falcons, Bears were up by 2 with 10 seconds to go, Bears thinking they have won the game were happy and didnt realize that they still had to stop the recieving team, Falcons ended up getting good field position and kicked a 54 yarder that wont he game.

So what do you think, all their losses were bears mistakes, do you think they have a shot at it?

This question goes out to Jeremy S.

Saying they could be 7-0 is more realistic than saying they could be 0-6. The Bears lost all their games by a field goal which were result of Bears mistake, so you could say they "COULD HAVE" been 7-0. However saying they could be 0-6 is BS in my opinion because the bears won all their games by at least 10 points or more……………..
